My husband wtirdhew money out of a small businesses ATM. It was a alterations place, to be exact. When trying the transaction the first time it said there was a communication error. When asked by the business owners son what to do he said everything is fine and to try the transaction again. My husband did and the money went through and he got the money out and paid for the stuff. When I checked our account that night I noticed that the money was taken out twice on our online bank statement and the atm listed was the small business ATM . When contatced about getting our money back from the business they gave us the run around for two days now saying I'll give you your money at this time and every time we went to pick it up at their business they either didn't have our money, or the person authorized was not there. When calling again about it we were put back on the phone with one of the business owners telling us he was not going to refund it that I have to take it up with the bank to get our money back, that they didn't have it. He admitted that on the ATM record, it supposedly sucked the money back in and that it was not on record on the ATM it was wtirdhew . but on our Printable bank statement it clearly states it was and my way of thinking is just hand us the money both the ATM and our bank statement claims was taken out anyway but he won't! Our bank if going to want proof that we didn't in fact receive the money from the ATM but how are we supposed to do that when we only received one receipt for the transaction we did receive money from Where do I go from here to get our money back? Should I make a police report on the business because it's their machine that did not give us the money? I don't see how our bank will give us money back if on our bank statement it claims we got it with no problems when this business owner clearly KNOWS differently!
You can buy some great Earth Sandals at Wal-Mart for about $14. They're soo comfortable. You can also go to eBay and ask to be noeiiftd when Earth Shoes come up for auction. I have several pair purchased on eBay, and never paid over $18 including shipping. I absolutely live in my Earth Shoes, and my feet have never felt better since I discovered them.
Actually high heels are better as they force the wehigt to the ball of the foot. You may wish to tie you rfeet at night. Tie the toes/ballof foot to ypur calve or ankle so that the bottom of the foot is stretched backwards. Rolling pin on the bottom before you go to bed or are watching TV. Exercise the plantar fascia ligament whenever you are standing. Putting on makeup, on the phone, waiting in line. Up and down on your toes. Comfortable shoes are a must. Heel cushions too.
Hi Bernadette,Thanks for the comments. I suggset reading the article I wrote on plantar fasciitis (below) and following the exercises as a starting point. Hiring a really good fascial therapist who has a successful history treating PF would be a good idea too. I have had great success in treating PF. In most cases, moving out of the acute pain stage within 3-4 sessions. Once you are out of the pain stage, it is time to focus on flexibility and corrective exercises to strengthen the arches, knees and hips. You will find a few in this article.Now, my guess is that you have been wearing shoes with a significant heel lift for many years. (I consider the heel lift of most running shoes to be significant). The heel lift in shoes places your achilles tendon in a shortened position. It does not get stretched out fully when you walk. This is compounded by heel strike. Over time the achilles and lower leg muscles in your calf become somewhat permanently shortened. This is the primary issue that causes PF and just about every other foot pain issue. The shortened state places strain through the plantar fascia and other structures which eventually become inflamed (for lack of a better term). This is also the reason going barefoot is so painful. When you are barefoot, you are forcing the full natural range of motion of your now shortened ankle which places excess stress on the achilles tendon. Plus the muscles of the lower leg and arches are not strengthened to handle this new ROM. So they get fatigued quickly. The key will be to work through the active pain of PF. Then begin a rehab process that focuses on increasing flexibility and strengthening the ankle and calves. When it comes to walking around barefoot: I would keep the amount of time down. Spend 5-10 minutes a day at first and over the course of weeks slowly add more time. It MUST be PAIN FREE. Start buying shoes with less of a heel wedge. Don't make a drastic move from the higher heels you are currently wearing to a zero drop over night. But eventually you will want a zero drop shoe, if your foot can handle it. This is a process that will take at least a year and possibly two years to fully adapt into. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.
